The Dance Company Dress Code

TDC’s dress code is specifically designed for the student dancer. Appropriately dressed dancers always perform with poise and grace, not revealed when wearing street clothes! Long hair must be pulled securely away from the face. A classic ballet bun is required for recital ballet performances. If the dancer’s hair is too short, it must be neatly secured away from the face. NO JEWELRY.

Ballet
All students are to wear a solid colored leotard, pink tights and pink ballet slippers. Three to five year olds must have the skirt attached to the leotard if they choose to wear a skirt.

Tap
All students are required to wear a solid colored leotard, jazz pants and tan tap shoes.

Jazz
All students are required to wear a solid colored leotard, black jazz pants and jazz shoes.

Hip-Hop
All students are required to wear a solid colored leotard, jazz pants, and black hip hop shoes.
